BEYOND TRANSIENCE
Flori F. is a Luxembourg-based contemporary botanical artist
whose practice explores the transformative potential of plant matter beyond its biological life cycle.
Through observation and engagement
with the inherent forms, structures, movement and limitations of botanical matter,
Flori F. develops a visual language in which gesture and matter converge, revealing the persistence of organic forms beyond their transient state.
SOURCING
The plant materials used in her work are sourced primarily from Luxembourg and the French Moselle region, anchoring the artistic practice in a direct relationship with the local environment and its natural cycles.
The diversity of these sources provides access to a broad range of botanical materials, from familiar local species to rarer and more exceptional varieties.
Carefully collected and preserved, these elements become the raw material for compositions in which plant matter gradually undergoes metamorphosis.
FROM BOTANICAL MATTER TO ARTWORK
These compositions give rise to original artworks at the intersection of botanical observation and contemporary artistic research.
Produced on museum-quality Fine Art paper, they reflect a rigorous approach to both quality and archival preservation.
FINE ART EDITIONS
Limited Editions
Selected for their unique character and significance within the broader practice, certain artworks are made available as limited editions.
Each piece is produced in a restricted run of up to 30 editions on 350 g/m² museum-quality Fine Art cotton paper and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
These editions maintain the highest standards of quality and fidelity to the original composition.
Open Editions
Other artworks are extended into open editions, allowing for a broader circulation of the work.
Produced using archival pigment printing on museum-quality fine art paper, these editions offer lasting image quality while maintaining a high degree of fidelity to the original composition.
WORKSHOPS & COLLABORATIONS
Personalised botanical workshops are offered for private clients as well as within professional contexts, including companies, institutions and organisations.
Using natural elements carefully collected and preserved, participants are invited to observe the forms, colours and singularities of each botanical material before developing their own composition.
Each composition results in a unique and personal piece.
Collaborations have already been developed in Luxembourg with partners including Galeries Lafayette Luxembourg, Centre Commercial Cloche d'Or, Librairies Ernster, Ladies Circle 5 Asbl, SIAS - Biologische Station Naturzenter and LUGA – Luxembourg Urban Garden.
